Aim Motor Sport Junior Rotax team driver Callum Pointon left the paddock stunned at last weekend's big meeting at Rowrah by driving from 9th to 2nd in the final and posting the fastest lap time by a massive 2 tenths of a second.

Fresh from being awarded the Stars driver of the day from the previous weekend, Callum was brimming with confidence.  With the next round of the Super 1 series being held at Rowrah, all the big teams were in attendance and Callum's performance is even more impressive when put into that context.

"All the hard work that has gone into the team and Callum is really starting to pay off, and everyone is starting to appreciate Callum's skills as a driver around the pit.  Callum is still relatively new to karting compared to most drivers, and his performance this weekend was outstanding - we are all very proud."

 Also of note was how well Callum's team mate Jamie Dzrya performed.  Jamie had great pace all weekend and managed to qualify at the front of the grid for the final to finish a respectable 7th.
